Abstract

Math-Cha (Mathematics Based On Character Building) is an online learning application developed by researchers as a result of previous research. Math-Cha is a courage learning media based on character education. The Covid pandemic period requires teachers and students to actively use online learning media. Teachers and students continue to interact in two directions. The interaction of teachers and students is not only in the delivery of learning materials, but humanism education is needed, namely the insertion of character education. Math-Cha is able to become a teacher intermediary to help optimize the load of positive character values. The purpose of this study is the effectiveness of the Math-Cha learning application on the learning outcomes of the Matrix. The research was conducted in class X Catering at SMKN 2 Malang with a total of 29 students. Correlation test using the R test with the result of a value of 0.033 which is less than the alpha (α) value determined by the researcher at 0.05.
