This study aims to determine the effect of interest in learning on the learning outcomes of class VII students in the field of Physical Education at SMP Negeri 12 Kuala Kencana Timika. This study uses quantitative descriptive analysis method as outlined in the form of percentages and regression analysis. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP Negeri 12 Kuala Kencana totaling 30. The research sample with a total of 30 people. The results showed that students' interest in learning in physical education subjects (70.43%) and physical education learning outcomes were good with an average score of 83.5. Regression equation = 52.170 + 0.445X. From these data, the significance of simple linear regression shows the value of Fcount > Ftable or 63.372 > 4.196. This means that the data on the influence of interest in learning (X) with Physical Education learning outcomes (Y) has a significant regression, so it can be stated that there is an influence of student interest in learning on student outcomes at SMP Negeri 12 Kuala Kencana Timika with the magnitude of the influence being 63,372. There is an Influence of Student Interest on Physical Education Learning Outcomes in Grade VII Students of SMP Negeri 12 Kuala Keencana Timika, seen from the R-square value which shows a value of 69.4 or 69%.
