Abstract

Space Geometry is one of difficult material for students, so it takes effect to student’s mark. One of the causes of the low value of Space Geometry is the use of teaching materials that only contain material and questions. Geogebra assisted Space Geometry teaching materials are the right solution to overcome these problems. The long-term goals and specific targets of this research are Geogebra-assisted Space Geometry teaching materials that can be used as compulsory teaching materials for Space Geometry courses and further developed for the following school years. This development study modified the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan and Semmel. The instrument in this study was a test of critical thinking skills and the scale of self regulated learning. Researchers will test the average to obtain validity and practicality. The validity of this study is the expert response to learning devices. The practicality of this study is the response of students using Geogebra assisted Space Geometry teaching materials and observation sheets of lecturers' ability to manage learning. The effectiveness is the ability to think critically through tests and self regulated learning through scale, which will be carried out tests of mastery, t-test, influence test, gain test. The results obtained were Geogebra assisted Space Geometry teaching material valid, practical, and effective.
