Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMK Negeri 3 Palembang in three dimensional material. This type of research is classroom action research, which is carried out in two cycles and each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were class XI BDP SMK Negeri 3 Palembang in 2018/2019 academic year totaling 29 people. Data collection techniques are carried out using the results of learning tests, which are supported by observation, and interviews to obtain additional data. The results of the study showed that the percentage of achievement of learning outcomes completeness in the first cycle was 65.52% with an average of 71.24. While the percentage achievement of learning outcomes in the second cycle is 93.10% with an average of 73.48. It can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of students of class XI BDP SMK Negeri 3 Palembang in three dimensional material
