PERFORMA VO2MAX ATLET BELADIRI PADA KONDISI PRE MENSTRUASI DAN MENSTRUASI PELATDA KONI ACEH

Maximum oxygen volume (VO2Max) is also translated as the body's maximum capacity to use oxygen during the exercise process. This study aims to determine the level of VO2Max possessed by female martial arts athletes PELATDA PON assisted by KONI Aceh. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, while the type of research in this study is descriptive research. The quantitative descriptive research method applied can be interpreted as a research method that aims to describe an existing event using numbers. The data collection technique used in this study is a test that measures the cardiopulmonary endurance capacity. Cardiopulmonary endurance measurement test uses the balke test for 15 minutes using the VO2Max formula, and then the data obtained will be analyzed by calculating the average value and percentage value. The population in this study were all female martial arts athletes of PELATDA PON assisted by KONI Aceh, totaling 14 athletes, which included Fencing, Tarung Derajat, Taekwondo, Silat, Muaythai, and Kempo athletes. The researcher used a total sampling technique in determining the sample, so that the sample was a total of 14 martial arts athletes assisted by KONI Aceh at PELATDA. The conclusion of this study is that the average VO2Max level of the athletes in pre-menstrual conditions is 41.40ml/kg/min. and 40.50ml/kg/min during menstruation. In pre-menstrual conditions, there were 3 people in the good category with a percentage of 21.42% and 11 people in the moderate category with a percentage of 78.57%. Meanwhile, in menstruating conditions, there were 2 people in the good category with a percentage of 14.28% and 12 people in the sufficient category with a percentage of 85.71%. Athletes are advised to maintain an exercise program to stabilize VO2Max levels.
