Analisis Soal Ujian Akhir Mata Kuliah Matematika Dasar Pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Teknik Universitas Surakarta

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of test items in basic mathematics for students of the engineering faculty, University of Surakarta, for the 2021/2022 academic year in terms of difficulty level, discriminating power, and test reliability. This type of research is descriptive quantitative using statistical calculations. The research subjects included all students of the architectural and civil engineering study program at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Surakarta. The items used were items in basic mathematics courses. The results of the analysis of the test items in basic mathematics test showed that reliability was included in questions that had moderate reliability, which was equal to 0.48. Based on the discriminating power of the items, all questions have a significant discriminating index. Based on the level of difficulty as a whole, it shows that all the items are moderate. So it can be concluded that all the items posed in the basic mathematics exam can be used.
