Abstract

Learning Strategy for Improving Thinking Ability (SPPKB) this strategy is to train the mindset of students in solving problems, students have to prepared to confront any problems given by teachers and also can provide emancipation to students to explore the ability of students with various media around them. In this type of research is descriptive research type with quantitative approach because the technique of data analysis using descriptive statistics in learning mathematics. The result of research and discussion, it is found that the effectiveness of SPPKB of VII class learning in MTs Al Jauhariyah Banyuates is included in effective learning because the ability of teachers in managing good learning, student activity during learning is good, student response questionnaire is said positive because the percentage of students who answered positively from Every aspect obtained by percentage more than 80% that is 84%, and student learning result test completed in classical with 6 unfinished person or equal to 20% and 24 students complete or equal to 80%
